What Keeps Me Up Nights
Okay, so maybe I actually DVR it and watch all five episodes on weekends. Anyway, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (NBC) features my favorite band, The Legendary Roots Crew. It's become my favorite late-night talk show, with Letterman taking second. I love the show so much I dragged my BBF to a taping this summer, where were proceeded to bob our heads at the mini-Root's-concert and learned to love Tom Jones's funky-Welsh self.
My favorite segment is Slow Jamming the News, where Jimmy and the Roots break down current events in sweaty, Barry White, baby-making style. The funk-level on this comedy feature registers high on my chart. Laugh a little at this P.Diddy remix, then search for all the Slow Jam news segments on the show's website. It will put you in the mood.
